Dr.Akila Venkataraman, a medical physician MD, is a specialist in pediatric neurology and epileptology at Geisinger Medical Center (Wilkes-Barre, PA) with decades of experience in treating pediatric patients with love and care. She comes from a family which has promoted Indian classical carnatic music in the USA and Canada for over 30 years. Dr.Akila Venkataraman has learnt carnatic music and veena from Guru Nivedita ShivRaj. She presents concerts with members of RagaChitra Fine Arts. A lover of adventure, Dr.Akila travels the world and participates in a variety of activities.
