Jayashree (aka jay) Kumar is the Artistic Director of Kumars' School of Arts. She has a Master's degree in Bharatanatyam and has been teaching in the Memphis metro area for more than two decades. Classes are offered both online and in person for adults and children alike. Under her direction many Arangetrams (debut performances) have been conducted. She is very involved with the local community; she and her students perform at various venues.
