How to recover or change your password?

First, you can browse most pages on IMD List without logging in!

IMD List uses an email authentication to change or recover a password. So, when you try to change or recover a password, IMD List sends out an email to your account email with a link to set a new password. The link times out after 10 minutes. So you must click on the link within 10 minutes. 

 

Here are the two ways to change your password:

Method 1 - If you are not logged on to IMD List, follow these instructions:

 

Click on “Sign-in” from the top menu. 

 

IMD List will take you to the sign-in page. Below the LOGIN button, find and click on "Forgot password" link.

 

Now you'll see the Password Help page.

 

Delete the ??? question marks and enter your account email. Then enter the human challenge word. And then, click "SUBMIT".

If you entered a valid email address and a correct human challenge word, IMD List will send out an authentication email to the email address entered.

 

Check your inbox as well as junk mailbox for the email from IMD List.

Open the email and click on the link within 10 minutes!

 

The link automatically opens the password manager page in a browser tab, fills out the account email, and the password reset code. Do not delete or change the password reset code!

 

Enter a new password which must be 8 to 12 characters in length, have at least one uppercase letter and at least one number.

Retype the new password in the confirmation box.

Enter the human challenge word.

Click SUBMIT!

If there are no errors, IMD List will successfully change your password. [See Picture 8.]

 

 

After changing the password, login to post listings.

 

Method 2:

If you are already signed into IMD List account, the top menu will show "My account" option.

 

 

Click on "My account" and select "Change account password" from the account page.

 

 

Then proceed as mentioned in Method 1 above.
