Founded in 2012, Yuvalaya School fo Dance focuses on customized teaching and a holistic approach, so students experience gurukulam teaching in the 21st century. Founder Rama B has been a performer, choreographer and teacher in 3 countries (New Zealand, Canada and the US) and has performed at the Lincoln Center, Governor's Island, United Nations, Maha Vallabha Ganapathi Temple in Flushing, Fashion Institute of Technology, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (NY and Chennai), Goethe-Institut (Germany), University of Lima (Peru), all over New Zealand (Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council Grant), Raga Mala Music Society (Canada), and her students have performed at large venues in NYC. Training culminates with a diploma.
